Four little words that will change your life…

A loooong time ago, when I was trying to decide if I should leave my secure and well paid job in investment banking to start my own business and pursue my passion in health and fitness, I read a book called Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway.

It’s quite famous and I’m about to ruin it for you.

Because while the entire book might be 200+ pages long, you really don’t need to read past the opening chapter.

Think of the absolute worst thing that could happen if you decide to follow your dreams….

Ok now wait for it…

Here is the secret…

The four magic words…

YOU CAN HANDLE IT!

So simple!

But when I read those words it made me realise that even if everything did go wrong for me, I would be able to handle it just like I’d handled every other situation in my life up to that point.

(As it happens, things worked out quite well and I have never looked back 🙂

What I couldn’t handle then, or now, is being 80 years old and looking back on my life wishing I had done it all differently.

Wishing I had left the City and followed my heart.

Wishing I had spent more time in the gym and less time at a desk.

Wishing I had spent more time being happy and less time being stressed.

So what about you?
