Don’t let Thursday defeat you!

Thursday is the worst day of the week to take a break from your goals.
Because when you skip the gym or blow your diet on a Thursday, it’s easy to rationalise that it makes sense to start again on Monday.
Because, Friday.
Then, the weekend.
And Monday is always a good day to start again.
But that’s four whole days of not making progress, more than half the week!
And if that happens more than once, you’re basically off your plan more than you’re on it, and you’re not going to see the results you were expecting when you started.
So look out for Thursdays and make an extra effort to stick to your plan that day.
And while you’re at it, look out for November and December too.
Because, Christmas.
Then, New Year.
And January is always a good time to start again.
But that’s 2 whole months of getting nowhere!
Which is why I recommend setting some new goals right now, to keep you motivated through the winter months.
Because if you don’t, you’ll find it much easier to start skipping the gym because of the rain, and blowing the diet because of all the mince pies, and then you find it much easier to rationalise that it makes sense to wait until January to start the cycle all over again.
However, if you set yourself some 12 week goals right now, you could end 2017 better than ever and hit the ground running in the New Year.
You could arrive at that Christmas party looking and feeling great.
You could enjoy your Christmas dinner guilt free.
You could wake up on January 1st already well on your way to reaching your goals.
Or you could stay exactly where you are for another 12 months – because it’s a fact that 92% of New Year Resolutions fail before the end of January!
But you don’t need January (or Monday) to start something new.
You can start right now, today.
Where do you want to be by Christmas?
Write it down.
Make it happen.
