Why You Can’t Afford a Personal Trainer
When I first started out in the fitness industry I was working front of house and had to do mandatory sales training to help retain clients when they came to cancel their memberships.
One of the tactics they taught us was, when someone says ‘I can’t afford it any more’ you ask them ‘how much do you spend on coffee a day’.
Then you break the cost of the membership down into bite sized chunks showing them that it really is very affordable.
I never used that tactic because it’s ridiculous.
People buy coffee because they enjoy it and we can always find money to spend on the things we enjoy.
The reason people think they can’t afford the gym is because:
A) it’s not something they enjoy because
B) they’re not getting the results they want
Results = motivation to keep going.
No results = giving up.
It’s the same when it comes to having a personal trainer.
People think they can’t afford it because they have never got the results they wanted from exercise and think it’s a waste of time.
But what would you pay to:
– Like what you see in the mirror
– Feel strong and confident every day
– Have more energy than ever
– Improve your long term health
– Actually enjoy getting fit and healthy
These are the results you can expect when you train with me.
Not convinced?
Give me 8 weeks and I will give you something you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
Or the coffee’s on me.
