Been Watching Love Island?

Love Island is on and it’s the talk of the gym.

Will she, won’t she. Will they, won’t they.

If you haven’t seen it before, let me save you some trouble; a few Instagram wannabes get put in a villa and the couple who are deemed to be the most in ‘love’ after 10 weeks win fifty grand.

Got it.

Oh and it’s on for an hour, six nights a week, for 10 weeks.

Quick maths. That’s 60 hours sat in front of the TV watching pretend people, pretend to fall in love.

Seems crazy, but people are doing it.

Pretty sure you could learn a new language in 60 hours. Or a new life enhancing skill.

You could certainly learn how to lift weights safely and effectively.

Imagine if you went to the gym six nights a week.

Or stuck to a diet for 10 weeks.

Imagine what you would look like.

Imagine how you would feel.

Thinner? Fitter? Happier? Healthier?

You only need three hours a week and a few minutes a day tracking your calories in a food diary and in 10 weeks you could feel like a whole new person.

Suddenly Love Island seems a bit pointless right?
